I downloaded MoonShell Version 1.71 from the GBAtemp Database, and its not working properly on my DSTT. Does anyone know what's wrong with it?

It says on the bottom screen:

An error was detected while trying to access the disc or a file. Please confirm the followings:

Did the setup end normally?
Is the "/moonshl" folder moved or deleted?
Have you enabled the resume function with a media that is not supported?
Do you have enough free space on your media?
Please re-format the media and try again.
Please try with different media from another manufacturer,

What can I do to make this work? Also, in my MoonShell folder it has a MoonShell Save file that can't be deleted. Should I just reformat my MicroSD?

There's a dedicated moonshell for top toy

I have it on a mirror here

as the official site always sucks for download speeds

Thanks, but I'm pretty sure I'm using the one dedicated to my TopToy.

Do you know if there is anything i can DO about it? People have placed good comments about the one i downloaded, so it must be something wrong with my TopToy?

Did you download the one from my sig (which links to the one from the download centre)? Feedback was OK so I think that will work for you, if you did not download that one. If you did, I'm gonna have a look at it.

That one came from the DSTT website and I posted it there when it was impossible to get on the DSTT site.

EDIT: Updated the details so it shows instructions on how to install it on your DSTT

Never mind, problem is solved mate. I reformatted my DSTT. Something is weird with it. I need to reformat it every now and then. Thx for your help, and I believe I did in fact download it from the one you uploaded onto GBAtemp. Again, thnx.

~Hehe Moo.

i don't use the latest moonshell. it has a few bugs. movies have a delay wen pausing, and when u tap the bottom screen while watching sumthing, it takes a few tries for it to register. the older version i have (forget which one) doesn't have these problems.

yeah, this is because the DSTT team were horrible at making a DLDI driver work with their hardware. corruption may occur periodically. Same thing happened with the R4 team, except that had problems executing some arm7 stuff...

Pressing X and Y when playing music (or movies) controls the volume. You can go over 100% if you want, but it'll be software amplification so it will probably sound distorted after a certain point.
