Moon Books Project
Site Re-launch

After a long hiatus, The Moon Books Project is back up and running. The site is home to lots of public domain books, movies, and comics geared for use on the DS.

That's right NDS homebrew enthusiasts, head on over and download all of your favorite homebrew games and applications (homebrew and application section under construction. You can also download all of the comics, books and movies (over 150 movies!) from our comic, book and movie download section (also under construction, but fully functional).

@deathking No, the site didn't go down because of that.

The truth is, the site outgrew itself, and both Brandon and I have been working for the past few months trying to find a viable solution to run a website that will handle everything we want to do with it. Unfortunately, the Moon Books Project is under maintenance right this minute because an incompatibility with the plugin we were using for sitemaps caused a whole bunch of things to go wrong. Fortunately, we have all the data backed up so once Brandon gets everything reinstalled it should be back up and running, but we won't be running Buddypress anymore. We're looking into different WordPress Forum bridges so we can bring forum functionality back to the site, but the downloads (which are what most people are going there for anyway, IMO) should be back up at some point today.

Really looking forward to this coming back. I remember moonbooks were originally formatted just for moonshell. Will the files work with ikureader and such? Comic wise, will the files be comicbookds compatible? And when the site is back up, could you post when it is?

Thank you so much for all your hard work!
