Another noob question here kev, but how do I install startpatch? Do I extract it into the apps folder and install through homebrew or do I load it from Bootmii?

just so everyone knows there is nothing wrong with both wanins and hermes cios this game needs a cios with ios 37 as base or part of the base its been known sense the japanese version came out.

Just use Hermes 223 v4 38 & 37 merged and it will run in CFG Loader just fine

if i install this will it affect Waninkokos IOS 249 or 250 in any way? i mostly use Coverfloader without issue and have never installed Hermes 223. Is it safe overall and will i need to switch USB port for the HDD?

I have a PAL 4.2 E version running the lattest wiiflow and I have no issue running NTSC US or JPN releases as well as PAL versions, why does someone says it's not possible?

i bought the game then use gecko os to skip to update but it ask for a wad update. so i install the game using Config USB loader (its 2.64gb) force ios222 viola it works cant go online though...

so there is no point in buying the game becasue you are going to have to burn the disc anyway, it's a waste of money.

When you try and connect it'll give you a message saying it'll be up on the 19th.

Safavid you might want to add one for CFG Loader.

Like in my post before, I was using CFG but it wasn't working correctly. I was using hermes' cIOS v5 223 (222 gives buzzing). I stepped back to cIOS v4 223 with 38+37 merged. Now all the problems I listed before are gone.

I'll try using cIOS rev19 though and see if I get the same results.

Hi mate (or anyone else), i wonder if you can help me.
I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to softmodding, IOS's and what they do etc. I have a chipped and soft-modded wii (NTSC 4.1)
I tried to MH Tri working via USBloader or Neogammer and i get the black screen and buzzing sound. i read your post above, did a bit or googling and found the hermes CIOS222 v4 file to download. I put it on my SD card and ran it under homebrew. I first installed IOS222 (under 249) with 37 & 38 merged, then i did the same for IOS223. But i still get the black screen and buzzing sound. I'm running IOS249 under (rev 14) and my cfg is version 1.5+cfg32.

Do i need to upgrade something else? maybe rev 14 to 19?

Came out earlier then expected =D. Has anyone made this work with r14 cios249? Hopefully someones made it work with it like jalaneme i don't want to mess around with my system if possible.
