Anyway, the game is going to be awesome. If the online isn't laggy, I can see myself playing a lot online.

I don't have a WiiSpeak, but I normally just talk on Ventrilo whenever I play video games, so I'll just do that.

I'm playing it online in the Japanese version, and i can tell you right now... there's no lag at all, atleast not in the controls, you do get some occasional teleporting monsters or players, but that's as bad as it gets. Works REALLY good online!

And you can still use the keyboard to talk online if you want to.

You're sure to find someone to play with, it works without friend codes and junk, just go online and join a room and there's lots of people to talk to and play with! ;]

The assless trousers mentioned in the review made me laugh so hard when I saw them ingame. xD
A guy in the intro video turns around exposing the assless trousers, almost made me shoot my drink through my nose...

don't mention that...i just started the JP version to get it going with the wiimote(since the classic controller isnt sold easily here in Brazil) and omg...assless trousers, i wonder what monster materials he used rofl, or what monster materials he "lacked"

, could have killed that thing using kicks if it allowed me, altough its a way better raptor-like than the dromes of previous MHs its still easy =/)

anyway, is it me or the light bowgun in Tri is really good? I tried the heavy a bit and seems the same, medium is "eh whatever" and light seems really good, the damage isnt all that bad and you dont lack mobility

Ok as almost everyone knows now, the Japanese version didn't work online using any USB Loader, you had to use something like GeckOS combined with a DVD to play MHtri online.
I got in contact with the USB Loader GX people and talked about it and it's been solved now, you need a cIOS based on 37!
I installed cIOS249 rev19 based on 37 and it works like a charm now in USB Loader GX without the DVD.

The game will freeze when using keyboard unless you enable VIDTV Patch!! so do that!!

So I assume it will work with CFG Usb Loader too? Well if it doesn't work for me, no biggy. The US Version is coming out soon. But I will try the online right now and the same thing you said.

Yea I already know how to set the shop channel to the japanese version. Hmm... so I guess I'll need Wii points I guess. Forget it at the moment.

This boss is too easy. I like him much more than the blue dromes from the past MH games though. Last time I went into the forest place just to get some ore etc and the Lagiacrus came out of nowhere, damn I was scared haha. Didn't feel like fighting him, just ran. Plus he was in water so his mobility was much higher than mines.

i know Dos Jaggi is easy heh, im a ...well not long time but a decent time MH player, and my favorites have always been the pseudowyverns(tigrex, naruga and in tri Barioth/Beriorosu)

Tigrex is quite cool. He was in MH Freedom 2 if I remember (have that game). Barioth to me is practically a Tigrex with a feline head. At the moment I'm liking Rathalos a lot.

Quick Question-I dont have usb loader (I dont have enough room on my HD) is there a proper way to get a burned backup to work? ive literally tried everything!*note this is for the japanese version-ive preorded the actual game..so i hope that wont have problems either...

Using a Backup used to be the ONLY way to play it till just recently.

There are guides all over the place telling you how to do this, use GeckOS and search for guides is all i can say.

barioth seems to be a bigger version of tigrex, his wings seems to be specially stronger since he can hover over you for long times(like kushala does in unite)
