i can't even find a rom of the original japanese game but i figured it was worth the shot asking.
For those unaware, the monster rancher DS we got is actually "monster farm DS 2". So we're missing the first one, never localized.
The threads that mentioned it i found on google were all closed and long dead, so sorry for opening a new one just for this
