ROM Hack monnshell 1.5 help please!!!!

i have moonshell for max media player.

ok heres how it went i click setup choose my removable disk i choose english and click setup evrything work it booted on my ds lite now heres the problem.

problem: when im playing music you no the bar comes in the bottom but it have japaness text in it and when moonshell start the box that come up i cant read them cause the in japanese.

can any one help :'(

Okay here's how it went-

To setup my my ds lite, I selected the removable disk
I chose English because it was an available option
I chose setup and everything worked. It even booted.

But here's my problem-
When I'm playing music... you know the bar at the bottom of the screen? It's Japanese text I'm seeing and when moonshell boots up, a box with Japanese text appears. I don't know how to read Japanese, so I don't know what it's telling me to do.

Can anyone help me to get my ds lite to speak english please?
