Hacking ModMii sneek installation

I tried using ModMii to make a sneek 4.3 JP emunand and have a problem, the setup goes fine but once I plug my SD into the Wii and load bootmii, the screen stays black and the disc drive just flashes, I know you have to wait a while but I waited for over an hour and a half and nothing changed

My SDHC card is a SanDisk 32gb, and formatted as fat32 with a 32kb allocation size
Any help in getting this working would be great

Edit: I should also probably add that I've retried the process mutiple times with no luck

it's easiest using uneek via the usb, because you can tell that something is happening by the hdd activity light. it's true that it can take a while, especially the first time. however, it shouldn't take that long. how long it takes is determined by how many games are in the emunand. only use sneek/uneek for games that need it. you're wasting time otherwise. my neek2p install on the wii u only has two games associated with it, and it's almost instantaneous.
