Change IOS settings to 30.
Start Preloader again and change back to 60.

i dont get why you have to do this, why not just leave it on IOS60 why put it to 30 than 60

your right, i forgot to change that when i changed the guide

cool, thanks. nice tutorial. im installing cioscorp now.
just a quick note, you might want to add about the option to NOT boot bootmii every time you start the wii by renaming the bootmii directory in the root of the sd card. for example, i renamed mine to "bootmiiLATER"

DAMNITT, i keep getting a 1022 error when installing the ios60 in cioscorp. ive tried multiple times, i thought going through this new tutorial would solve my problems. cioscorpv2 installed just fine, but v3 is being a little bitch. do i need to set preloader to load a certain ios?

yea, you should get a system files corrupted message somewhere, then change back to IOS60.

ok, im trying that now.

well, that didnt work. what i did was, reinstall 3.2u, i installed ciosrev14. then use waninkokos firmware updater for 4.1u and installed preloader. i then set preloader to load ios30 and proceeded to install cioscorpv3. same ios60 error 1022. ill just stick with v2 then.

hmm iv never seen that error code. i would say use
cios downgrader to rid of the previous cioscorp and be on 3.2
then install cios rev14, dop-iosv7, preloader, then cioscorp,

thanks dude, ill try that. smoke a bowl for me and keep your fingers (or eyes) crossed.
the error im still getting says "ios60-64-v6174-v3.wad... ERROR! (ret = -1022)". im baffled

Try another sd card or usb.

yeah, i have another card somewhere. im using a transend 2g. its actually a micro card in an adapter. ive never had trouble with it before. im looking for my 512 sandisk, its here somewhere.

@xzxero, mmmmmm....hash..mmmmm

I'm not sure if I've missed something but...I followed your guide religiously and managed to get the corrupted memory error message.

- I do have BootMii as an IOS on boot2.
- I can access HBC

What do I need to do?

Edit: Everything installed flawlessly and I was at the Preloader step at the end. After I finished installing that, I looked around the Preloader menu (didn't change anything) and attempted booting into the System Menu and got the error.

what IOS is your system menu running off of?
check in preloader>settings.
if it is at 60, change to 30.

you should get that same corrupt message but worse [more messed up]
then get back into preloader then change back to 60

and make sure you saving the settings each time as well!

ahah umm, some hash on top of my kush sounds good about now.

Arizona monsoons. lol

Well it was pretty short. I booted up the wii and just remembered I turned on Autoboot to System Menu in the preloader (suggestion from another site...no idea). Anyways...It boots to the BootMii menu rather than the Preloader menu when I hold reset. What should i do to get to the menu? :/

Nvm I got it. Just pulled out the card and it worked. Changed it to 30, back to 60, and everything worked. Tyvm for your amazing guide.
