So is there any way at all to fix my semi bricked Wii or am I a lost hope. All I have on my Wii is the Boot2 or whatever that activates on startup and in the Homebrew channel I just have the stuff you told me to put on there throughout the guide.

yea it shouldve worked since the guide uses the v3 of hackmii installer

i need to update that.

but anyways you should use the new hackmii installer to update bootmii and make a new nand backup.

YAY it worked thanks a lot. Now I am deciding if I want to take another crack at this or just go to sleep before I do something even more serious.

After doing the part 1a] it says succes but its not downgraded and when I try to do this

1b] Run Trucha Bug Restorer
Choose IOS15 and press A. (Important)
Wait till it says Press 1 then press it.
Choose IOS36 menu. In there use these settings:
Install IOS to slot (36)
Hash check (trucha) YES
ES_Identity YES
Nand Permissions YES
Then press A on install patched IOS36.
Everytime it says "load IOS from SD", press right twice to make it say "load IOS from NUS" then press A

Doesnt work. Any help? also it freezes many times when Im trying to instal something .is that fine?

I freaked out for a second when the screen started trippin, but everything worked out in the end. I havent tested anything yet, but it seems like everything is good to go. That is some cool shit how it grabs the files with wget.

hmm is your internet hooked up?

if it is and still freezing then try the offline method.

yes thats on the computer, not the wii.

you sure your do this correct?

the first time you run TBR, you choose "no IOS reload"
the second time you run TBR, you choose "IOS 15"
the third time you run TBR, you choose "IOS 36"

sounds like you didnt choose either no IOS reload or IOS 15 on one of those steps.

im pretty sure its because you didnt press no to the sig hash check for IOS 61

On the preloader.29 Systemmenu Hacks, Do I have to change the setting of Region free wii Games so i can play Japanese games on my wii? or theres another program for that and I don't need to change anything in here?
