My friend had a nice starfall'd, cioscorp'd wii, and after my hours of work to get it just right for him, he installed 4.0, then put the HBC on the SD card (and took it off the NAND) for no apparent reason. So, now we need a chip to get him any means of homebrew back. So, I was wondering what chip we should get him? Our top priorities are the lowest price, and the ability to run most backups (so that we can make him discs of HBC installers and stuff like that.) Also, we don't want to do any soldering, but are willing to if necessary. Also, obviously it needs to be 4.0 compatible. Can anyone help us with this?
To recap:
-Low Price
-High Backup Compatiblity
-Clip-on rather than solder
-4.0 Compatible.
Also, his wii serial # starts with LU3.

I was thinking the solderless d2pro; his wii is LU344 and it seems like a simple enough install. I found it for about $58 USD. Would this work?

Solderless clips are failure-prone, I have a D2CKey + Wiiclip lying around that I couldn't get to work. So yes, it would work, but I don't recommend it. Drivekey is a much simpler, error-free install.
