That's what I'm trying to do. Unfortunately I'm not that good in editing the code. We most likely need to edit the exefs of the Homemenu.

Which is dangerous. It could cause a brick if any incorrect mods are made. A nand backup could be beneficial

Launching Miiverse while offline still works, you can make up to 3 posts, but they obviously won't be uploaded.

I noticed that. Is it possible to redirect the applet? Telling it launch another title?

there is a secondary mini applet that games boots as far as I can tell looking through all the apps in fbi
edit: a minimiivers of sorts I mean is what they boot

That's why I have the HomeMenu backupped on my SD Card. I install the modified HomeMenu. When it bricks, I boot Godmode9, copy the previously backupped HomeMenu folder back to System NAND. Works fine.
