Hello.

I have a Gameboy player, but no disc and now I heard of GameCube modding with Swiss. Is. It worth it and is there a good tutorial like Switch Hacks and 3DS hacks guides pages?

Those are the sources I trust.

Thanks.

Hi!

You should definitely try Swiss! You don't know what you're missing!
With Swiss you can load the GB Player startup disc ISO, or Gameboy Interface (a homebrew app that does what the official GB player offer and more). You can also run emulators directly on it!

You're gonna need:
1- a way to boot Swiss (via hardware mod like modchips; via SD media launcher disc; or via a ODE like GCLoader)
2- an SD card with ISOs and applications (search for SD Gecko and SD2SP2)

Take some time for a research and choose you prefered method to explore your (old) new console!

Thanks. Yes, think you can mod it via the Wii and I have Agent Under Fire disc if that's the disc to use.

I forgot to mention the savegames exploits!
You're gonna need a wii for that, a memory card with some space available and a compatible game, but you're gonna be tired after some time. It's boring to do all the procedure when you boot up your console. You're gonna want it ready--to-go!

Can I load the Game Boy Player ISO using the memory card or do I really need something for it?

Also I stumbled upon GC Forever forums. Well, never ever again... I searched for the term Swiss and it doesn't work with the search function because it's apparently not allowed? Most stupidest thing happened in my entire life really. Research is going to be very difficult now...

I wish Gbatemp covered this...

What you can do is pick up the Gameboy interface DOL and inject it as boot.gci into the memory card (using a wii for instance)
And then load the Gameboy Interface from the memory card using a savegame exploit! This will let you play physical GB games

And you don't need swiss or any ISO for that!
