Firmware : YAOSM 3.0 Final
Media : Verbatim DVD+R
Speed : 16x with Nero Express

Not a single DRE in 8 intensives hours of playing ^^

No problems at all
No update installed
and mario kart channel installed and working

I have a PAL launch Wii with Wiikey (1.9g), what do i need to do to get it working? Just burn to disc? Cheers. + or - R disc also?

Most people are on 1.9s, hardly anyone is going to know for 1.9G
I'd advise upgrading to 1.9s.

I'm using a PAL launch wii with WiiKey 1.9s and I did this:
Download it
Burn it
Play it.

Thats it

Media: Arita Dual Layer (Because I didn't have any single layers.)
Speed: 2.4x
Patched with: Nothing
Layer Break: Nothing, it's a single layer game.

a PAL wii with D2Ckey but the firmware is 3.1E , mario galaxy worked fine with no update asked
will this one work? I dont have wifi on my wii

Should be able to just burn it and play. I had 1.9g on my Wiikey but it's NTSC.

THERE IS NOTHING SPECIAL FOR MARIO KART!!! There is no reason for this thread, it's making people think there are problems specific for mario kart!!! Unless it's for discussing ways to stop from updating (but it doesn't even matter now since you can remove them whenever you want).

Go to the wii releases and it's the same discussion.

Finally working... SSBB Update is what kicked it in to effect.

NTSC-U Wii, 3.2U (SSBB update used after wifi update to 3.2U from before)
D2Pro 1.0 (19 wire, region free install)
iso only touched w/ brickblocker

Tried on 1.9g wiikey, Sony dvd+r, 4x speed and Channel doesn't work.
Updated to 1.9s, channel still doesn't work.

It's not that big of a deal, but it would be cool to actually have the channel...

No go! I ran the update from the disc (no dupe channels or anything), but all I get is the white screen:
No matter how many times I hit the buttons it doesn't budge. Syncing another remote doesn't advance it either.

Argh!!
