Sorry if this maybe is placed wrong.

So my son has a Minecraft world that he has been building for over two years, on his jailbroken Wii U.

It would completely break his heart if this world would disappear and I have taken many backups of his savegames in Minecraft.

Is there anyway to convert this Minecraft Wii U save to a cfw Switch without the need to use Nintendo account?

I don't mind paying someone for this service as long as it works.. Thanks

Well I can answer my own question:

1. Backup saves from Wii U using Savemii
2. Copy to PC
3. Use service, UniversalMinecraftconverter (not free unfortunately) to convert Wii U to Win10. It saves as a folder.
4. Create a new bogus world in Minecraft on Switch (not Switch edition). Save and quit.
5. Use homebrew app Checkpoint to backup the bogus world in Minecraft to SD
6. Use FTP or through manual SD copy the new converted folder to the backuped save folder
7. Restore save using Checkpoint.

Nice.

Thanks, is it a 1 off payment?

Have a look at this thread
https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...minecraft-bedrock-for-nintendo-switch.542742/

short version: create a save backup in the switch with chekpoint or jksv, go to your wiiu and export the minecraft save with savemii, extract the folder corresponding to the world and move it to the switch and put it in the proper folder inside the save backup (see that thread), restore the backup, done.

No need for external services. For free.

Edit: sorry, it may not be that easy, because wiiu minecraft isn't bedrock at all. Therefore, some tool should be used to convert the world from wiiu format (java for sure) to bedrock.

Thanks, I only have the base version installed which isn't the bedrock update. Will give it a try.

Ok this is the dir made by savemii
backups/00050000101d7500/0/8000000a

And there's about 90 files in there.

Which folder from the above am I putting in jksv and which dir exactly? Do I put in the folder in jksv/minecraft/ganons/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds/d5UDF-QAAA=

Or in jksv/Minecraft/ganons/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds/
