i died in minecraft yesterday because of a zombie (i was away from my pc at the time) and i respawned and i cant find my house even if my life depended in it... how would i be able to find it?

Don't forget to make a beacon of torches for if you die at night either if you choose to build it a little ways away from your spawn. When I started playing, I took over a sky island, proceeded to build a castle, then placed torches all around the outside on the top. As soon as I spawned, I could spot it regardless of day or night. Was pretty fantastic.
Too bad I lost interest and haven't opened the game in months.

i died so many times that i made a huge castle in my spawn point and put a lava lake around it, then dig until reach lava then made a trail so long that even using the booster (the 5 minecrafts thing) it tooks 5 minutes to get in the end of line.
