Minecraft can keep you occupied

Over the last day I had no internet. thankfully, it has finally returned to a reasonable speed.
Minecraft kept me occupied.
I made a 2 and a half nintendo characters. (mario, luigi and blue link)

In other news, it seems I've been worrying for nothing: my school is just an asshole school and got my grades confused with someone elses. it seems I didnt fail this year, and possibly didnt last year!

Seconded, I have never seen that message before, not even on pirated versions.

Also... Some people call those "Pixel Art", and I actually did those for a week and quit when I started getting busy... they are pretty cool. I would just use Photoshop/GIMP to overlay a grid on a sprite and BAM!

Awww. what? Is that a new thing? usually just don't login when there are no updates because it runs a little faster that way. Now they are gonna make me feel bad about it?

Ahh those are pretty good

I've never had an eye for pixel art - I just could never do it - but a buddy of mine that plays on my server made a giant trojan deer in the middle of his forest castle keep. I still wonder if he wasn't a bit drunk when he came up with that idea. Turned out pretty well though

It's probably something to do with lack of internet. I use a pirated copy and have never seen that Unlicensed Copy text.

Same here.

To the peeps asking since when, I think it was the 1.6.5 update. If you use optimine or anything like that it goes away, but that get's rid of the "Minecraft Beta..." thing altogether. Well it flashes up for a fraction of a second every now and then but you know what I mean.

This is very true. I found myself having no internet, and turned on minecraft. However, 4 hours later, I realized that internet was back up. Also, this game is really amusing, and it will keep you busy for hours and hours.

Notch removed the "Minecraft Beta" text in 1.6 (Or one of the sub-updates). As for the unlicensed copy text, I've had it show up before to. It was when the servers were down, and it randomly popped up once when I was playing offline. And yes, I own a copy of the game. I'm sure Notch is going to fix it in 1.7.

Depends - on SP mode there's a MOD you can use that'll allow you to give yourself too many items sometimes

It does spoil the 'actual' game though....
What I'll like to see is some method of depending on the map you load - depends on which MODs are installed/excluded. That way I can load in my 'Design' map & have that MOD installed, but on normal maps - it doesn't

I do use a pirated version, and whenever someone uses the same pirated version on my network, it shows the text. I am going to get the paid version soon enough though

I have a server (Simpleserver+Bukkit combo FTW) which I build these things in, but its hamachi. so IF anyone would want to join, just PM me.
