What are the system specs for this Minecraft game? If I can run it on this piece of shit netbook (the bare bones basic model, 1GB RAM, XP, etc) then I wouldn't say no to a code

QUOTEIntel CPU - Celeron M 1.5GHz
AMD CPU - Sempron 2200+
Nvidia GFX Card - GeForce 8400 Series
ATI GFX Card - Radeon HD 2400 Series
RAM (Memory) - 1 GB
Hard Disk Space - 1 GB
That's the lowest spec I could find from several sites. Why don't you download the free Classic release and test it?

it's right below the "Beta" version.

There are reports of people running it on low spec netbooks but they had to tweak the settings.

Typed a whole shit-load of text to find out you've got a shitty netbook.
You probably won't be able to play it without a shitload of luck.

If Minecraft wasn't done in shitty Java, then you'd probably be able to play it with a decent FPS.

Edit: Also Snail recommended going on Classic to test. Classic isn't the same.
Maps are all done beforehand and there isn't much demand than Beta.

So yeah, I'm going to be having a Minecraft giveaway on these forums later today, stay tuned.
