So I have both a modded switch and a MiG flash cart. If I try to play a game off the MiG flash cart can I just get updates for the game via tinfoil?

yes, it behaves the same as a regular physical cartridge. so you can use digital updates with it just fine, and dlc too
Why would you use a Mig with a modded Switch? Why not just install the games to the SD card inside the Switch.
