Hardware midi adapter on wii

I'm getting a Yahama DTXplorer electronic drum tomorrow and I saw a useful peripheral today, the Madcatz Rock Band® 3 MIDI PRO-Adapter™ for Wii. So I'm wondering if I could use my drum on an iso of rock band 3 for the Wii, could someone please conform that this works for the Wii or not

Not 100% sure, but I believe the midi adapter is for use with a midi guitar. Go to www.drumrocker.com and check out the ion one, that should work just fine for you for the rock band games.
