It is good that PS3 follow this pattern as well. As for the Wii, it better offers something big that is comparable to Move and Kinect. Motion Plus is just not enough.

Now if only the wii motion plus could match the Sony Move

Oh wait

The Kinect actually looked pretty fun to use, assuming the bugs get fixed perfectly, but i think it has a small variety of games if im not mistaken

Too bad we're all going to die in 2012.
jk

People still believe that? I think my uncle does, but I thought people got over that, we didn't die in the year 2000, I don't think the world is going to end in 2 years. I just have one thing to say..."Timezones..." that is all (If you don't understand, we all live in different timezones, so the world ending in 2012 isn't very plausible, it would still be 2011 in certain parts of the world, especially since some places are days ahead or days behind. What, would the world end in like one part of the world, but not yet have ended in another?)

I don't doubt they would consider supporting a system for another 5 years while they continued on their new system, but I think that Microsoft wants to see how well Nintendo's new system (which supposedly supports 3D gaming) does before going into the market themselves. I think they learned from their mistake from last time by releasing a new console too early. Nintendo was successful not only due to their motion controls, but the games that appealed to non-gamers that they had out on the market. Nintendo's idea was that they would appeal to non-gamers to get them into gaming. Not only that, but their system was affordable, unlike the other systems on the market at the time. I think Microsoft might be waiting for Nintendo to make the first move to see how they do before releasing a newer system, of course I could be wrong, but that's what it seems like Microsoft is trying to do.
