Hacking microSD's

i'm thinking of getting a M3 DS Simply
i have never used microSD's so i am not sure how they work.
how do you put files on one? is my main question.

on my laptop, i have a slot for SD cards. so i guess i can put the microSD into an adaptor SD card
then plug it in.
can i put files it in just like that?
so it becomes a drag n drop like a USB?
or do i need some other hardware to put files on it

Nope, you got it.

It's plugged into the SD adapter (it should come with it), then drag 'n drop onto the microSD through Windows Explorer or w/e

Yeah, if you have an SD card slot built into your laptop, just put the MicroSD into an SD adapter and stick it in your laptop. Drag n' drop your files and go.
