Hardware MicroSD Card Management Not Working?

How long does it usually take for MicroSD card management to register on your computer's network list?
I waited for more than 10 minutes, and it's not showing up at all. I'm using Windows 10 if that helps. It can detect everything else except for my 3DS. Are there any solution to this?

Try restarting your computer. It tends to show up for me when I do that.

Thanks, it works now. All I had to do was reset my router, delete the correct connection on my 3DS, and reconnect x.x
