Hardware Microphone flexcable

Hey i have a question. Since yesterday my microphone stopped working and i decided to take a look inside. The flexcable from the microphone is inside its right slot but the doesnt close right, if i push it down it keeps getting up again. Can anybody help me?

You might have broken the clip, you could try a bit of sellotape to get going otherwise it's a very difficult soldering job to replace that tiny clip!

Yeah i thought some sellotape would do it too but i dont think its broken :/ i never really touched that clip wierd. Well i'll try it with some tape thanks!
 
Never push on the connector when the ribbon is connected...
You need to remove the ribbon before push on it !

Be careful when you press to not deform the connector tab (you have to press the pin side).
 
What if we got it broken. Is there any tutorial how to fix such connectors?
The sellotape is supposedly going on the bottom of the ribbon, opposite side of the gold pins, to make it thicker, right?
