it might be cheaper to get multiple 1 gig microsd cards then a single 2 gig.

the kingston (japanese version not taiwanese version) is considered to be the most compatible card for the r4ds at this time.

here it is for 15.50 and free shipping (within the usa) http://meritline.stores.yahoo.net/kingston...ro-sd-card.html

now they are kinda random... maybe you should request a japanese version specifically before you purchase the item... cuase I bought three and two were japanese and one was taiwanese.

for that price you could buy like 3 or 4 of them for the price of a 2 giger.

I just got mine yesterday and it was Taiwanese but my R4 isn't here yet to test it. Have there already been a lot of problems with those cards or are they just not quite as good as the Japanese ones?

well the japanese one just has a bit more read/write speed. so certain animated intros have a few skips with the taiwanese one. also there is one game in particular that will freeze or crash when you try to play it on a lot of cards. that is castlevania portrait of ruin. on the kingston japanese it runs very well and I havent seen a crash yet. I havent really touched my taiwanese one yet to really give it a test drive... no need to cuase my jap one works great.
