Metroid Samus Returns Cheats

Need some help here guys. I’m playing Metroid Samus Returns but I can’t get the cheats to work. I’m using Checkpoint. Gets quite hard later on in the game and thats why I’m looking to cheat. I can get walk through walls to work, not the others which include infinite missiles. (Press “L and start then R and start) am I using the right button combination? Help!

Old thread, but I was having the same issue with thinking the cheats weren’t working. It worked for me by pressing L and start to enable the cheat and it seem R and Start disables it. I’ve gotten the infinite missiles and invincibility to work. The missile and life values don’t change but they don’t deplete. Just thought I’d post in case it helps someone else.
