I just tried the Unlimited Beams Authorized hack but it doesn't work for me. Playing my unmodified dump is no problem though, so cIOS etc. incompatibilites can be disregarded (can't they?). For the record: I'm using USBLoader GX.

I convert the ISO to wbfs on a FAT drive using the Wii Backup Manager. I haven't tried the game on dolphin, but the MD5 after applying the hack is correct...

Has anyone else tried this hack?

Ok. I fired up Dolphin to test it there, and the converted wbfs file didn't load! The unconverted iso loaded fine. So it got me thinking, that maybe WBM doesn't make a proper wbfs file out of the patched iso (the unpatched iso did work when WBM converted it to wbfs).

I now used Wimm's wit tool to convert the patched iso to wbfs and voilá, it can be booted in Dolphin! :D
A test on the real hardware is scheduled for tonight. I will edit my post then. Keeping my fingers crossed!

EDIT
No, it doesn't work on the real Wii :(

..and I found another Hack (Opoona relocalization) the won't run on my Wii.

I'll keep looking

EDIT 2
Ok, I found a solution. I took the patched ISOs and extracted and repacked the files with Wimm's wit tool. These newly packed ISOs can be converted with Wii Backup Manager and played on a Wii or Dolphin.
Have fun!
