Hacking Metroid Prime Trilogy - Half Green Screen error

While loading Metroid prime 1 or 2 on the Metroid Prime Trilogy DVD5 (No MP3:Corruption on disc) on Backup Loader .3, the loading freezes, followed by a half green screen , followed by a restart. Is this problem caused by a lack of a CIOS? Would the problem be solved if I patched the ISO to IOS249?

You must have been sleeping under a rock for the past few months...!
Firstly gamma 0.3 is well outdated use neogamma. Then you have to use the alt dol trick - search for it in this forum - there is more than one extensive post about it.
