This is probably the best representation of the franchise I've seen outside the main games, it's a bummer that it seems the project is no longer being developed. The production costs must be extremely high and for a non-profit film, that is not very good.
What do you think?

Looks pretty decent ... I know the rights have been bought by the Hollywood machine to make a big-budget Metal Gear game, and I know Hideo Kojima has written the script, and Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium, Ultraviolet) is directing, and that they are hoping for a late 2009 release ... but that's about all I know ... oh, except for the plot synopsis ... it's a very, very, very rough outline lol

This film follows a similar (but not identical) plot to the popular computer game and follows Solid Snake on an adventure to destroy Metal Gear, a mobile tank capable of firing nuclear missiles from any terrain.
