Hacking MegaMan Legends 2 trouble

Please help, because iv'e been at this for a very long time now
PSP Information:- PSP model is 3001- CFW is 6.60 Pro C (fix 3)- Popsloader was downloaded here http://www.mediafire.com/?hphhr55kxbgwhfu
Problem:I already know about the infamous ladder glitches. (Flutter 2nd ladder crashes and the Pokte Island Crash) So I downloaded Popsloader, but it wouldn't work. When I go the popsloader menu to change my Pops version, it freezes. It only gets through the game on 6.39 and 6.60 but crashes on the Pokte Island flutter ladder.I went online and saw to fix this you need to pick 3.71. So I did, but it crashed and shortly my psp shut it self off! I tried all pops versions but everything under 6.39 causes my psp to crash when loading the game.I enabled popsloader and reset the vsh. But nothing works.

I was having the same problems with my old Pops. Would freeze on anything 6.00 and lower. So I followed the directions from that like, now I'm able to load up most of my Pops, including 3.71. Thus allowing me to get around most of (except that damn 2nd floor ladder!) glitches. Good luck.
