Hacking Mario Kart on G6

I'm using the Europe MarioKart #201 and it works fine.

...With chinese g6 lite, beta (english) firmware and latest 4.1f U-disk manager. Oh and passcard-3.

[EDIT]In fact everything works for me with this method, I'm so chuffed that I made a thread about it.

i have english g6 lite

the US rom 168 work fine
the 201 doest work in Dofat(black screen before a race) but fine in normal

but in either i cant have software reset , is that normal? (only game ive see this)

strange, I can´t get it to run.
got the english g6 version and passcard3 and installed the 4.2 software and also the new loader.
i can start mario Kart but after I choose the track the screen is black

do i have to patch the rom and how do i have to do that ?

EDIT: it works with the US version now but still no luck with the european one.
and i don´t understand why the us version is in german too.. ?

I had this problem, dont choose DoFat option, select normal, then it works, even trimmed.

For me MKDS (EU) works but in-game-reset (aka. software reset) doesn't.
Will software reset work if I choose "normal" and not "DoFat"?

For me software reset doesn't work, but that's just a detail.

I had this problem, dont choose DoFat option, select normal, then it works, even trimmed.

Neither do I ... There's also French in US rom ... That's cool!
I Gonna try "normal" & "trim" for EU rom ... Maybe will it work for me too

But since the US Rom works fine, I don't know why I persevere in trying to use the EU Rom
