Gaming Mario Kart 8 "Switch"

Dunno if this has been shared yet but, i just saw this today:

Today, apparently EB Games listed Mario Kart 8 for the switch with a new cover art and etc.
But the interesting part is the following:

Apparently we're getting a brand new battle mode, 24 new tracks and the character rooster will be increased by 10.

What do you guys think, fake or real?

Also, as far as i can tell, we don't have a thread for the game yet, so why not use this one for discussion and all that fancy stuff.

The new bottle mode looks interesting, but I am really exited about these 24 extro trocks.
In the other hand, I am not so sure about the 10 new chorocters.

I really DONT LIKE the fact that they are giving us a port and remake or whatever for Nintendo Switch... I hate that we deserve a brand new Mario Kart not a port... its a new console come on Nintendo don't start being like Sony and M$... NEW GAMES not old gen ports.... get it together

We are gonna get Mario Kart 9/ Switch but they probably just wanna put MK8 out there for some people who never bought a Wii U.

Smash and Mario Maker are the only WiiU ports i will purchase on the Switch.

Price also matters are these full price ports or $40?

Love playing Mario Kart 8 so will be happy to purchase it again although I'm more interested in a new Mario Kart altogether.
