I have many backups that I simply can't copy over to a WBFS partition because the WBFS manager dont recognise them.

I believe its because some older games has that patch applied for the older backup launcher.
Is there a way to clean those images somehow up so that WBFS recognise them or do I have to download the stuff again?

which images don't work? some are known not to work in most usb-loaders:

Red Steel, Mortal Kombat Armageddon, SSXBlur, Metroid Prime 3, Wii Speak.

but your problem is even when trying to transfer them? that's strange. try moving the image to another partition and open the transfer program again. good luck!

I am using WBFS 3.0 yes.
I tried to copy over Umbrella Chronicles for example (the game works on cd backup)
When I try to transfer it over then this shit happens:

I was adding Umbrella Chronicles but it shows Yugioh and it didnt copy over at all.

KM : There is a tool on these forums somewhere (I can't remember where I found it... sorry) That will Un-patch games that were patched for the original back-up laoder..

The .exe file is called bunpatcher if you search for that you should be able to find it..

There is a solution out there, I just don't remember where it is lol.. hope this helps.

on second thought a quick google brought it up. Try Here:

This unpatch tool was exactly what I needed.
Now everything works fine.

Metroid Prime 3 works JUST FINE with USB loaders.. it just requires a disc (any disc, backup or non) to be in the drive, and there's even a patch to fix that. And Wii Speak? Since when is that a disc you'd use in USB loader? It's a downloadable channel. Or are you saying Wii Speak doesn't work with games that support it if loaded via USB loader? That's not the problem he's having at all.
