you're quite right about that. but i don't think he's one of those trying hard people to get attention. it's one of those when you see you'll kinda get amused or respected in some way, but there will also be haters.

Well hang on, i really dont mean to be racist at all, But do you think if the person waiting for the 3DS was White in skin and wore a suit, that they would of called the police, or would they have gone out and politely asked him to move on and leave, or just left him?

It IS sad, and thats just how society is, over the years people tread carefully around different types of people due to sterotypes and media etc etc.

Its a very very very silly life us humans live.

Well I don't think they would just "let him be" either no matter who he was. I think they would have went outside and asked him what he was doing there and then told him to leave and come back a few days later when the release was closer to the date. Plus, how do we know that Triforce wasn't asked what he was doing there and to leave but he didn't then they called the police. That information may have been left out for his benefit.

Well you can give me all the money you have since it's not an AR card (Launch Events). I don't see what's wrong here.... He's doing what he wants with the large amount of spare time that he has.

There will be an entire launch event and what not plus he'll be receiving a free carrying case for being in the line. MAYBE even something else since some events usually do hold off on surprises. As mentioned somewhere else, pulling stunts like this at all these BIG launch events may also award him with things in time (other free items or possibly invites to specific events).

It may not be a big deal to you but it seems to be for others such as himself and other dedicated or hardcore fans.

Don't think he'll have a lot of competition just yet, maybe on Saturday night at about 10pm.
Also if he has to leave for hours for security he'll lose his place, so why not just stay at home until the launch night?
EDIT: Oh I didn't know there was an actual launch party I thought you just go in, get console, go out. I guess they'll be queuing from early afternoon?

Damn...I can see why you'd side with BestBuy on this. BestBuy only want your money nowadays, they worry little about having good customer support. As he said, they let people do this for movies and other tech, why not for this? And I read that this is the same Triforce that has one numerous Tetris and SF tournaments...I believe people just threw their matches so he could get handed the prize money right?

People have different passions...but I guess it's understandable for them to not be accepted.
