Homebrew mamesdl 0.4 help

Ok so i'm to emulation on wii, but I've had my wii soft modded for awhile and I just got mamesdl 0.4 but I cannot get it to run! I downloaded it and it came with 2 folders mame and apps, I copied the apps folder onto my SD card and launched Homebrew channel and the mamesdl is there so I go to it and click load and it loads with no errors but then it boots to a black screen then just kicks me back to the homebrew menu. What am I doing wrong here? I got the gen plus and snes9x working no problem.

The one your using might be a version were you need some extra files in order to play I think.
Remember most games won't play at all but this emu will load.

Hmmmm it booted but says no roms found blah blah blah, will it run WWF Superstars or WWF Wrestlefest? and thank you for your help!

Like I said most games won't run, I don't think there is a big compatibility List on this but you can search on google and you should be able to find out wich rom works.
