i kno this was not possible a long time ago when i used to post often, but a friend of mine in singapore has had his machine changed to us, he had a jap wii, he took it to a store and it is now all in english, it was 3.3j and now its 3.2u, he said that the guy said

"he asked me if i want to downgrade from 3.3J to 3.2J and change it to US instead of J and i agree with it"

Everything is now english besides the note son the bottom right corner, the menus and settings are all english

did i miss a big wii breakthrough? please let me know

p.s sorry this post is messy, i'm at work.... lol

Yea you can easily change your region and firmware with waninkoko's Wii region changer and cIOS downgrader or anyRegion Changer by tona which also down/upgrades to 3.2e/u/j.
P.S tona is easier to use and waninkoko is for more advanced homebrewers and needs both of his programs for best results

so i can use this "tona" and it will amke my jap wii into english?

I don't think tona will like being "used." lol.

but yes, you can use AnyRegion Changer 1.1, just know that you'll be getting the newest update at the same time.

What version is it?
If it has 3.1 system menu then you can use a correct region semi-brick fix disc to install 3.2 system menu, then the semi-brick will be gone...

If it's still on 3.2 or 3.3 then you should possibly do that in the downgrader...
