Autoboot smash brother. Use smash attack to install hbc and bootmii. Make at NAND backup with bootmii.Use bootmii to go into hbc. Run wad manager from hbc to unistall bad wad. If u don't have a bad wad ur next best bet is use wad manager reinstall system menu ios and system menu wads.

Why can't he just use the smashstack to uninstall the bad wad?

He cld use smash stack to run wad manager then unistall the wad. Smash stack dosent unistall the wad by itself though. He is a newb that's why i told him make a NAND backup just in case. In all honesty I don't think it's a bad wad cuz he said he never used hombrew. So I think he'll have to install his sytem menu wads personaly and maybe that fix it

Let me know if this works because I'm in the exact same boat as you.
I didn't realize smashstack ever got released.
I just gave up hope and set my wii aside.
That method may just fix it.

Well, I tested the Brawl thing that everyone's talking about.

I don't know about Smash-Stacking, but I noticed this:

-Auto-boot copy of USA Brawl causes white screen with "Please insert Super Smash Bros Brawl Game Disc" green text to appear. It won't go past this screen whether I reinsert the Auto-booting copy, or the real game.

did u use the full DVD9 version? because some wiis have trouble reading dual layer disks and someone made a DVD5 (single layer) disk, see if u can find that and make it auto-booting.

It sounds to me like a layer break problem (though i heard it's not an issue withWiikey). I had the white screen problem with my D2CPro chip when not using the right layer break

in imgburn, TOOLS, SETTINGS, WRITE. On options LAYER BREAK for DL media (top right) select USER SPECIFIED and enter 2084960

but i dont think layer break matters for wiikey so you might just wanna try to get the DVD5 version if this doesnt work

Tried it, won't even boot at all with the DVD5 version.

What a waste of a disc. :/

I even tried using the DVD9 version, getting to the "Please Insert Smash Bros Brawl Game Disc" screen and switching it with the DVD5 version. Nothing. It's like it doesn't even acknowledge it's existence.

Weirdly enough, an auto-boot patched Twilight Princess works 100% perfectly when I tried it out. When it worked, I played through all the way to getting the Zora Armor because of how happy I was to finally use my Wii again, even if it was only temporary.

I'm sorry, I'm trying to save as much money as I can, and don't have the time to wait an extra two-three weeks to get something ordered that likely won't even work.

It does the usual transparent Wii channel-fade in thing like normal, then goes into a black screen.

It doesn't go into the actual Wii Menu.

i'm going to pm you a link to an autobooting wadmanager iso, i'm not sure if you need wad manager installed 1st for this to work but its worth a go
