How do you use splash screen with AuReiNand on a9lh ? Mine went away after I switched from menuhax to a9lh.

i have made a bottom boot screen as Mr Burns, included in the zip is the pdf, so you guys can edit the font for you're own names enjoy

splashbottom wont show for me, but the top one shows.

i have both splash/splashbottom in my rei folder and i use the latest aureinand/a9lh , how come it doesnt show?

(btw. i do not use any boot managers for a9lh, but i still do have menuhax and ctr of it if i want to boot into it by holding the L button)

Are you on the latest version? Make sure you updated to 3.8.1 or whatever.

yep, i am using 3.8.1 but i will replace the files again now just to make sure

I couldn't find a good screenshot of this so I just made it from scratch. Took a while, but here it is!

Nicaea is a custom font (I traced it from a blurry screenshot like a scrub).
"A dead face delivery site", "beta ver.", "AuRei", etc is Minion Pro font.
Circles brushes used from HERE.

The separation I used was 70 pixels, but that was only from holding my N3DS XL up against the screen and seeing how big the gap was :') Nice splash though!

could you tell me how i could do this precise positioning thing for custom themes ? you know like vertically and i split the picture in half, i resize the top to 412x240 and bottom to 320x240 and i put them in the 512x256 pixel. <<<< this is what im usually used to in making custom themes.

i have asked in the theme thread as well, hoping for a quick answer , made me frustrate XD

edit: i think i fixed it ,by using the 70x

With my N3DS (not XL) I feel 50 px is just right. The line of the arm of the character seems continuous between screens.

EDIT: I can confirm it empirically. I resized the image to the size of the screens. The black 50px gap has the same width of the hinge.

It would be pointless designing 3D splashes when no code exists to display it.
