Magic Pencil Coming To 3DS

Time to turn drawings into reality with the new game from GAE, Inc.

The developers that brought us ‘My World My Way’ on the DS are back to give us some drawing fun in 3D.

The game is going to make full use of the 3DS touch screen, with items you draw on your lower screen then appearing in the game to help you progress. It is being reported that the game will also make use of the 3D effect but little is known at the moment. Siliconera are saying that you can create buildings, plants, animals, characters, clothes and food. Along with that it’s said that the game will involve finding a love interest for the female protagonist in the story.

The game is currently set for release sometime over the summer in Japan. But good news for western gamers, GAE has said they are currently working on bringing the title this way. Meanwhile you will have to sit tight and practice some stylus sketching. Tell us below; what kind of things you think would be neat to draw into the game.

Personally I think the art style is similar to a combination of hentai (I don't watch it, but I've seen enough of it to know how the well drawn ones are typically styled) and Harvest Moon. It actually looks pretty good despite the odd combo.

the interesting thing is the fact that u can make images and they get converted to bring about a 3d effect. Its kinda interesting that the game itself can do it.
