Gaming Magearna Nature?

I have a JPN 3DS, so I scanned the QR code for the event Magearna from some site I found that had pictures of it. It worked, and the event is in my game, but it always has the same nature when I receive it (Hasty, not a good nature for Magearna). The IVs seem to be properly randomized each time, though. Does anyone know what's going on here/has had a similar experience? Is there a way to re-hack the event into the game even though I already scanned?

What's the point? You can't even use it in battletree or ratings battles online because it's banned. But if you must want a perfect magearna, then use pkhex and edit the stats/nature.

What's the point? It's not going to be banned forever, and perhaps I also want to battle with friends or *gasp* for fun on non-rating battles. It'll likely be OU, which is generally what my friends and I like to play. I don't particularly want to edit the stats and natures directly because what's the point of that? It's only satisfying if you actually got it yourself. So is there no way to reset events?

Actually, iirc, Mythicals are always banned.

In ranked, yes, but I usually go on free battles. Ranking was never much fun for me specifically because things that should be banned are not, and things that should not be banned are. But I'd rather focus more on the Magearna problem than the battle system.

*shrug* Nothing I've found has it being fixed on Hasty. Only thing I can think of is you having a hasty sychronizer in your group.

Try catching an Abra with synchronize.

Alright, I'm embarrassed. It was synchronize shenanigans. Didn't realize my Alakazam was in front, and I also didn't know that since ORAS, non-breedable gift Pokemon worked with synchro 100% of the time. My b. Close thread plz.

I was going to suggest that, but I thought there was no way someone would make a silly mistake like that...well now you know. I thought though that the 100% synchronize only worked for the Latis in the main story (double battle with Steven against Team Aqua/Magma).

I looked it up, according to Bulbapedia, Synchronize now works 100% of the time for gift Pokemon in the Undiscovered Egg Group.
