Hacking M3i Zero problems updating

Hey all!

I'm trying to upgrade my M3i Zero to latest F_Core v1.6.1. I put the file on the root of my SD card and then I plug in the card using the usb cable.
The LED starts blinking red but then never stops.
I've tried switching to another SD card and both cards do the same thing. The LED never stops blinking.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?
Is the card dead?
