Hacking M3 Real Spring stopped working...

After about three years since I bought my M3 Real adapter, the MicroSD spring slot finally stopped working D:
is there any way to open it up and fix it?

Does it still read MSDs?

I've heard from other topics similar to this that you can open up your M3 and take out the spring and bend back a certain piece of metal to make the M3 work non spring loaded.

@ the op: i would recommend leaving it alone unless you are a total expert at this(judging from your post you are not), because my m3i0 had this problem too but when i tried to fix it (i was able to remove the spring), it would not work in my DS, DSi, or DSL and even the support team (who are on vacation right now[i think]) could not help get it working again.

Yes thats true im not a total expert, but I can open things up and fix em.. so basicly im an amateur.
I can try to open up the cart but im afraid I may somehow end up breaking it (not the inside, but the outside shell part).

Yes it still reads the MicroSD.

Well thats the problem, im not quite sure how to open it properly, but I will try to search for a way ^^.

ive opened one of mine up and its very simple, i just took the spring away

Did you have to glue the casing back together or any thing the likes?

i just un did the tabs around the case

. And the upper left part doesnt seem to want to come off (the case not the tab).

you need to use like a finger nail to go under the tab

meh, all the tabs broke... anyways i gave up on fixing the spring and decided to tape it so it wont fall out.
Ill just buy another flash card.
