as i researched that it will take a lot of memory and it uses a big load of external files. so then the nds will be like 8 - 16 mb in stead of just 2-8 mb..
Well, boot.bin is 40KB and boot.bin launch code will be around 5KB.

well if you are the best there is then tell me how to code it so that it can be applyed in dsgm

..

Oh you have to patch the generated code in every release...
thats not all..

i have to remake the files.
and i need more files than only boot.bin.

so its the end!!

OK but just note you need one .c for arm7 and one .c for arm9. just 3 files including boot.bin...
but if someone uses dsgm then it needs a lot more then thast
like the support files. and the Fucking big code....

end of discussion about this..

any other suggestions

The txt files that are saved in the notepad app cannot be exported to a PC as the file is not usable.
Will you be looking into making a usable file so that you can type on the run and then export to PC when you get home?

If not then I think the notepad app is a useless thing to have and you should concentrate your efforts else where.

I see that you were looking at bootloading... just wondering what you were looking at booting?

its a little rare.

i use my own made notpad when i'm away to write notes.

then later on the pc i open the txt
then remove 1 line of code and my text is clear!

so its useable

bootloading stopped as its useless

then you first have to start my nds from the card and then from my program you start that nds..
you can aslo start that nds from your card so useless as this is not a lossless universal card starter

ps i sure want to inplent that into my Mosds but as everybody says its inpossible and i cant do it to and tryed like 9 ways.. then i think its over..

You might need to make it automatically remove that line of code prior to giving out the finished text file, since I'm pretty sure not everyone is going to know to do that.

well there we have a problem..

the ds gives the code into the txt. the code are just some stripes and . ,
and is easy remove able.

as it uses palib text output to save it saves the room code with it.
but if you typed a big load of text the code it overwritten.

(i have not tested this :
you may can try putting a empty txt file in the root with the same name the notepad makes. mabe that solves the problem.)

and otherwise i must rebuild my manager so you can inport the txt with the manager. but i then dont know how to fix that it deletes the code. and not your text

Bootloading is not impossible.

This would be good for your app. You could have each app in its own .nds and easily exceed the 4mb barrier.

well in that case you must give me suppors as you may look like you know everything about it

As already stated, bootloading already has been used in Homebrew. there is a library for it!!!!
Just figure out the library..

I tried your texteditor. My text was messed up from around 100 bytes.
>the code are just some stripes and . ,
I cannot identify where is messed automatically... I should take a look more carefully.

thats so weird, V4 and V3 dont work on my DS but they work on the NO$GBA

im using MAIO 3, Moonshell 2.1, Akaio 1.6rc2, and when i click on it from either moonshell or akaio, it flashes white, than shows a black screen. its not loading, ive waited from more than 10 mins.

so people, i guess it doesnt work on MAIO
