Hacking Lost Planet 3 question

I just play this game called the Lost Planet 3 with my latest Multiman, Webman the latest as well. I noticed that when I played it and it always keep "checking required game data . please do not turn off the playstation3 system".

I have to wait until it reach 100 percent loading is complete.. Every time. Whenever I want to played it and it keep checking before I can play it again. All the time. Its normal or what ?

Usually when a game said that is just making sure there's nothing wrong with the installed files. It's normal.
