I feel lost in the hacking game.

I have an old HDD with GC/Wii games that I bought, then ripped as backups and played on my old Wii.

I am now interested to play only my old games on my new Wii U from my HDD.
I am NOT interested in hacking anything else other than the VWii. For the WiiU I use games that I buy from the ordinary E-shop. But I also want to be able to play my old games from HDD.

What are my options for hacking the VWii? I really have a hard time navigating in the instructions.
Does the ordinary Wii U firmware matter when it comes to hacking the VWii too? Am I screwed if I updated to the latest firmware, wich I did?

Well. My machine is connected and constantly updated with the latest stuff. So it´s all the latest.
As I said. I have no intentions of hacking anything else but the VWii so I can play my old GC/Wii games. The only stuff I need is Nintendont and Wiiflow.

But I really don´t know where to start or what to do.

I know how to hack the old Wii machine. But I don´t know how to do it with the Wii U.

wiiu fw doesnt matter to hack vwii. to hack vwii any wiiu fw works but you need a real wii game, either ssbb or lego batman/indiana.

I have Lego Batman as I used that one to hack my old Wii back in the days.
Is this true? I won´t have any problems installing WiiFlow and Nintendont on my fully updated Wii U?

nope wiiu fw doesnt affect vwii, you hack vwii the same way on 5.5.0 as you would on 1.0.0 wiiu fw.

Will he have any issues with autoupdating his Wii U, if he hacks his vWii?
I have no idea (haven't hacked my vwii), but I have seen issues with people no longer able to update the Wii U at all, due to a bricked vWii. It might be worth clarifying, since he says he always has his Wii U connected to the net.

smokey flavor that reminds me of beef jerkey on top of a really rich kind of bbq sauce. Heat level that is a nice zing, not overwhelming, but it tingles all the way down your throat

We all should have free health, dental, vision care, and make the college kids pay for the schooling, f that college forgiveness plan our govt doing now, its really not fair for all others in the past that had to pay for they're schooling anyways (like me, with 2 kids I paid to send to college in the past)

I think we should outlaw healthcare entirely because the fact that people can get healthcare today is unfair to those in the past that couldn't

@Sicklyboy - the comparison would be forgiving all medical debt, not making healthcare illegal!

College costs, college loans, book prices, the entire thing is predatory, oft touted as essential to a successful life for my generation and the ones since, and completely unaffordable without putting you through an insane financial hardship for literal decades in many situations.
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Many of the same issues can be seen for the insanely predatory healthcare and health insurance system in the US

    ^this
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
It's important for society to be healthy and educated. If those things can't happen because all of the institutions that prop up those industries make it unattainable for all but a small portion of society, then your society is largely going to be disease ridden, dying, and uneducated in very short order.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Issue is it's too rich of a coperation already with bad sugar diets causing diabetes and killing teeth a new set of teeth around 90k
  • cearp @ cearp:
I agree it's not easy for the average American, let alone the ones below that average. Free / cheaper healthcare is much more important I think than free university education.
Of course like @mthrnite said, why not both. But I doubt both will get solved at once, and surely healthcare is top priority.
