Hacking Lost health and safety app?

I was following the guide for the new CFW method, but things got too complex at getting the OTP so I just wanted to go back to the way I was booting into emunand via the DS profile exploit on 4.x sysnand. I've restored my sysnand and emunand to the backups I made, but I've lost the health and safety app to be able to inject FBI into it, even after formatting the system memory.

Could someone please help me on getting my 3DS to being able to boot into emunand again? Thanks.

if you have anyother entry point you just could install the fbi cia via the hb fbi version.

You stopped at part 4? That should have been good enough!

If you have everything you did when you started, I would suggest you follow the steps again from part 1 and stop after you've injected FBI in part 4.

If not, I can still assist. Are you on 9.2?

also my emunand lost its Health and Safety app, what i had to do is creating a new emunand.
but that will be tricky if it is sysnand.

What do you mean by entry point? I can still launch stuff via the browser. What's the hb version of FBI?

FBI is the app that you will inject in the health app to install cia. But you also can launch the homwbrew launcher and start the homwbrew version of FBI to install cia, even FBI iteslef and possible the health app

An entrypoint is basically a way to launch custom/unofficial software on the 3DS, tricking the system to launch a "payload" file such as the menuhax_ropbin, arm9loaderhax.bin, boot.3dsx, and so on. MSET ROP (System Settings DS Profile), A9LH, menuhax and browserhax, OoT3DHax, and Cubic Ninja are some examples of entrypoints.

Are you sure you aren't interested in updating to 9.2? You can install the menuhax entrypoint so you can enter your CFW/HBL the moment you power on your system.

Anyway, do you have a DS flashcart?

I don't think I can even upgrade to 9.2 again because it involved injecting the health and safety app which I no longer have. I don't have a DS flashcart.

Ahh that's right! I thought that was a rare cart to find though? I wonder.

In any case, I'd like to see if we can find a free solution to this before that. My next guess is to try to inject FBI via Decrypt9, but we need to see if this user truly doesn't have H&S.

That's true, except if you replace a file you can kick that up to about 80%.

if you follow the guide all the way through part 5, you'd get a 100% boot in 8 seconds, and you won't even need EmuNand anymore nor worry about future system updates. I'm willing to guide you through that if you manage to get FBI or Health & Safety back.

you could dereive from that one and launch the homebrew Launcher, install plasiUpdater and manually update to 9.2.

Or so i guess.

i doubt it will be that easy, i tried thae same on the emunand and after reinjection the app it came back as an black box and bootet and gba game i had on it xD'
But i hope it will work for him.

Oh yes, just restore your 9.2 NAND, set up menuhax, then set up Luma3DS and you're good to go (Luma boots into EmuNand by default)

(For the record, if you have hs.app from earlier before you undid the process, you can actually just re-inject FBI_with_banner.app and it'll give you back FBI on SysNand... But restoring 9.2 is way easier honestly)
