Hey Guys,

I was installing the HWFLY chip ad kncked off this capacitor by accident. It is the one next to the PWR and GRD one.

A few questions,

1. Will it work without it? I have not trid to turn it on. I am afraid to burn it.
2. If it does not, can anyone tell me, which one is it and where I can find it?

Thanks,

Those 2 are 3.3v filtering capacitors connected in parallel. Different voltage regulators require different capacitors on their output rail, so find the voltage regulator IC's model on switch motherboard and look up its sample design to figure out their value. Usually it will be fine if only one is missing, but since both are missing you better not power it on as voltage ripples could possibly kill some chips on 3.3v rail.

Btw the wires you are using are too thick, usually I use 30+ awg enamel wires for points A and D. You could easily damage A and D pads if wire's too thick, just saying.

3.3v Capacitors? What are you talking about?

The Voltage rating of the Capacitors doesn't matter as long as it's rated higher than the Voltage on the rail.

It's important that the Capacitance is correct. it's going to be a 1.0uF, 0.1uF, or 0.01uF Capacitor.
