Looking to develop for the Wii U and need some help

So, I am looking to do a homebrew port of all of Celeste but on Wii U, preferably able to be burned to a CD or put on the home screen like any other game but I'll settle for whatever, only thing is...I have no clue what I'm doing :3 sooooo I'm reaching out to the community to see if anyone has any advice on what to do, where to start, guides, the works. Literally anything would be a MASSIVE help.
 
I looked into making Wii U homebrew once and found This Article from WiiU Brew (which links to This Github page) that will allegedly teach you how to program wii u homebrew

But the first thing I tried was unity. I gave up because I couldn't get it to compile, but you might have better luck than me. You'll need to do some digging to replace any files you can't access: This GBATemp Thread should be a good place to start

I'm not a programmer tho so I can't really help you beyond that :P
 
cant help much on this topic but ik love2d isnt a terrible place for game dev and they dont just support the wiiu but the 3ds and the og switch as well
