Hi all, for an university project we would need an ARM11 MCU with LCD or better TFT connection. Actually there are two projects involved one is the UI and the second is measurement/controlling. We have to display buttons and graphs for various AD Channels. Could anybody recommend a SBC or development board, which can be easily adopted to our application board? I think it should be something like a CPU module or something...A big plus would be if there would be SD/MMC slot(s) or IDE. wince6.0 and Linux should be easy to use.

Many thanks in advanced
TOM

I have not really played around at this level (I tend to skip from microcontroller to CPLD/FPGA right back to offloading everything to a PC) so I am not sure I have the breadth of experience here required to make a good recommendation (I have seen things but not played around enough to be sure you will not have to spend half the project creating or polishing basic libraries and I have not touched winCE since palm computers were a thing).

I should say though what level of ADC or DAC is required- several options up to the tens of megahertz many of which will come onboard but beyond that you might be looking at something a bit more specialist which might trouble your request for a SBC. I mention this mainly as from what I have seen there is something of a gap between presently available DAC/ADC chips and the abilities of SBC/developer boards.

Equally there is a bit of a gap between stuff like http://www.arm9board.net/sel/prdclass.aspx and commercial devices using similar tech.
