My server is running PHP 5.2.x and MySQL 5.1.x.
I'm looking for a PHP art gallery script.
    There's a concern, though...

I just want it to generate a gallery. Not a gallery plus a blog, not a gallery plus a forum, not a gallery plus a convoluted user system, not a gallery plus an entire website... All too often I find scripts that try their best to be an entire website, and I end up stripping more than is used in the final product. :\

I'm just looking for a script that will generate a gallery that I can style and wrap my site around.

    Some features that I need...
    Some features I'd like...
    • Easy uploading.
I don't mind firing up an FTP client and transferring to a specific folder to let the script import it into the database, but it's a little annoying if I'm not at home when I get some art.
    • Searchable.
I'd prefer it if somebody could search for an artist's name and get the images they drew (because they're named in the description), but it's no biggie if they can't.

Guhhh, that looks awesome, but I need the ability to link to separate images.

When I'm away I prefer to sign into my site's cpanel and do maintenance from there, I don't actually like filezilla much (I tend to use WinSCP).

Your browser does not support iframes.

(the demo gallery to save you clicking again)
    From the bottom row
    http://minigal.dk/minigalnano/photos/55132big2.jpg ?

The top row seems to be a directory demo

Or did you mean almost a slideshow effect?

When you click a specific image to view it it's dynamically loaded, not into it's own page, so I can't link people to a specific image (which I absolutely need for this).

Ah I was without javascript- should not be too hard to kick that in the head and instead fire it a normal loadout.
