Hacking Looking for a 5.05 ps4

Should I just buy a 5.05 ps4 pro off ebay? They go for $500 and up is it even worth it if I have a ps4 pro that's not jailbroken?

I don't think anyone can really answer this question for you. The answer can be subjective depending the type of person.

I think there's a few questions that one can base their decision on whether if its worth for anyone to get a PS4 5.05.

1. Are you patient? Reason I say this, is that we may or may not get another kexploit hack in the near feature, even though one has was hinted a few weeks ago. (There's been alot of fakes, don't bother asking for ETA and FYI 5.05 kexploit will be 2 years old next month.)
   
2. If no new hack comes out, will you be content enough with the limited amounts games that are playable on a 5.05 fw and forfeiting the ability to play new games?

If you can answer both of these questions 'Yes', then maybe it may be worth it for you.

Buy one for around $500 and play the hell out of it while life is standing still at the moment. Then when life gets back to normal or a new kexploit comes out, sell it (at possibly a slight loss) and put the money towards a PS5.

The money you lose on the resale will be less than the cost of the games you'll get to play on it.

I see so many folks hemming and hawing on this topic. Just do it already and stop living in limbo. At any point you discover that it's become unimportant to you, sell it and move on to something better.

Take charge of your life and stopping letting things weigh on your mind is my motto.

Or buy a non pro for cheaper price. You aint gonna find an exploitable pro under $500 you might be lucky if its was $450.
They always been expensive way before a possible 6.20 k-exploit release was announced

It is to the well informed, but ppl increase the value if its a ps4 pro its always been that way on Ebay. If he can find a regular model he could shave off about $260 less.

You can still get a cheap enough 5.05 PS4 on ebay if you are lucky and have patience.

My advice is to set up saved search on ebay with email reminders. That way whenever a new 5.05 is listed you will get an email.
Another tip is to message the sellers and ask which firmware version it is on if you see a cheap PS4 that does not already say it is on 5.05. This is a long shot but you might get lucky.

I admit I was one of the lucky ones to find this when I did (especially as it was an auction and not a buy it now) because as most people have said, a known 5.05 PS4 Pro will usually have a stupid high asking price.

I have a death stranding ps4 pro with the yellow controller and it can heat my room. My xbox one x puts a lot of heat out the back too
